You know a trend that I am pumped to see? Board games are making a comeback. So are card-game nights with family and friends. Old, school baby. In this world of nonstop advances in high-tech, many of us are now looking for more high-touch. Face-to-face contact. Plus, a lot of us still crave competition. But, also, we need to watch our spending.

Going out for entertainment is super costly nowadays. But having friends over to play charades or UNO or Cascadia or just good old-fashioned euchre is very inexpensive. But FUN. Loads of fun. In fact, this sounds dramatic, but I think games nights are one of the best ways to deepen friendships, honestly.

Do you hear more laughter doing anything than you do those nights? This trend is all good. By the way, I recently tried seniors’ Twister. I got stuck in one position for two days. I probably shouldn’t have played alone. Fun though.
