If You Had to Save $100, What Would You Cut?

We went to The Daily Grill (Dave’s favourite spot!) to ask people what they’d cut from their budget if they had to save $100. What would you cut first?

I am at the finest eating establishment in North America. The Daily Grill. I am with the owner, Chris. Friend. Gross. Chris, you have to save a hundred dollars from your budget. You have to. What’s the one thing you cut right away?

Gambling.

That would save you thousands.

That’s right. Not hundreds. So let’s be honest.  You have to save $100 somehow from your budget.

You have to. What’s the first thing you would cut

going out for lunch?

Chris, you don’t want to hear that answer.  You have to save a hundred dollars from your budget.

Okay.

You have to, you’re forced. What’s the one thing you cut?

Going out to the club.

Oh, that’s interesting. ’cause you love going to the club.

So you have to cut a hundred dollars in your budget. We’re making you do it. Your monthly budget, what’s the one thing you can give away and not miss too much?

Uh, I think probably eating out.

Yeah, that’s true. Yeah. Especially

not at The Daily Grill.

No. The Daily Grill at the except quality,

affordable price is great

service.

Yeah. The Daily Grill like five, six times a week. But that other night,

yeah. That restaurant I’m taking my son who’s in university out to Morty’s two to three times a week. ’cause he’s, he will only eat chicken wings. So, uh, that’s getting costly.

Yeah, that’s getting costly, that’s for sure. And this’s his 12th year at university too.

At some point we’ve gotta, we’ve gotta put our foot down. He’s gotta pass, like he’s gotta move on with his leg.
